Beautiful food free parking and a very informative tour of the mine will definitely be back
I was very pleasantly surprised at the delicious food served here. Friends go every week for Sunday lunch. Excellent, prepared fresh by friendly staff. You can take your own drinks.
Fascinating underground tour, conducted by a working miner. The free miners are unique to the Forest of Dean, which is itself a great place to visit. Adjoining tearoom, naturally.
Good tearoom. The museum consisted of lots of interesting photos and books in the cafe and some paraphernalia around the site. Better to go in the summer and access the mine.
Great tour, interesting and hands on experience. The whole family loved it. Was above our expectations and the men who give the tour are the miners who own and work the mine so is a great way to support the local economy.
